Caliper Piston

Plasma nitriding produces a hard wear resistant surface. It eliminates the problems of flaking, spalling, edge build-up and chipping which are common problems of Chroming. Plasma nitriding also improves the fatigue strength of the caliper piston, Chrome plating does not offer this benefit.
